Andhra Pradesh Bags ` 40,000 Cr. Investment Commitment
The recent dinner meeting of Reliance industries Limited (RIL) Chairman Mukesh Ambani with Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu at the latter's official residence in Amaravati translated into investment commitments to the tune of Rs 40,000 in different sectors in the state. Reliance group and India Gas Solutions Private Limited (in which RIL is a 50 percent stakeholder), signed memoranda of understanding (MoUs) to the effect at the ongoing CII partnership summit 2018 in Visakhapatnam on 25th Feb’2018. As per the MoUs, RIL will invest Rs 15,000 crore in IT and electronic park, promising to create 20,000 jobs. RIL will create a world class infrastructure manufacturing unit in temple town Tirupati and world class infrastructure (e-governance and e-Pragati) in Amravati, the upcoming capital of Andhra Pradesh.
