BAUER Maschinen Busy In Africa

Frankipile International Projects Ltd. in Kenya, a branch of Franki Africa, was commissioned with the foundation work. Franki Africa is a long-standing customer of BAUER Maschinen GmbH, and so Frankipile also uses proven Bauer technology for the production of the 380 foundation piles with diameters of 800 to 1,200 mm and lengths between 12 and 24 m. A BAUER BG 20 H rotary drilling rig and an MG 48 drilling rig are used as well as several Multi Hammer Drills from Center Rock for the penetration of very hard rock layers. "So far, we are extremely satisfied with the machines from Bauer and Center Rock, as well as the service that both companies offer us, " says Ryan Goss of Franki Africa. "With the devices, we are able to easily carry out the foundation work for the future tallest building in Africa."
