Keestrack Hybrid Product Range: Electrifying Screening Range

feature-top The Full Hybrid Keestrack K4e Scalper with plug-in Option Saving up to 70% of Energy Costs.

Keestrack, the international specialist for mobile processing, presented the first hybrid driven classifier in 2012 and since then, has continued to innovate on this vision resulting in a complete full hybrid scalper series with a capacity from 100 up to 1,200 tons/hour. With eight scalper and 2 classifier models with transport weights from 14 to 45 tons the Keestrack scalper range is one of the most diversified on the market. All plants provide aggressive double-deck screen boxes with a wide variety of easily interchangeable screening media. Two models (K5 & K8) can be fitted with a flip flow screen box for fine screening of difficult, sticky or wet material. The wide variety of screen decks and models ensure a wide variety of applications going from scalping rip rap, via river gravel and construction & demolition to quarrying and mining.
Highly defined end fraction results qualify the Keestrack scalpers, also to be used for secondary applications. With large hopper and stockpile capacities available, they allow the cost-effective radio remote-controlled operation by the loader in the safe cabin of the excavator or wheel loader. Hybrid, diesel-electric drive options and plug-in options can even further reduce the energy cost. All e-version scalpers and classifiers can be plugged in to the mains or be run from the on-board diesel engine and genset. Due to the onboard diesel engine and genset, autonomy is guaranteed in case there is no electricity network available. In case there is an engine problem, the equipment can be connected to an external generator and still be fully productive. This way continuous operation of the equipment is guaranteed. All full hybrid machines provide an optional plug-out function to drive any ancillary equipment, for example, Keestrack e-stockpilers.

With huge energy savings of over 40%, compared to conventional diesel hydraulic driven plants, when driving the equipment via the onboard diesel engine and genset, to 70% when connected to the mains network, these full hybrid units need lower maintenance and can run longer. On top they can run with zero emission and less risk of hydraulic leakage.
Providing cost-efficient operation while performing screening and handling solutions for almost every material is an integral part of Keestrack’s DNA. Accordingly, the company offers today one of the most diversified product range of tracked machines, from lighter soil screeners to reliable classifiers for aggregates industry applications, to high-end solutions with up to 1.200 tph production. Next to the screening-range Keestrack offers also full hybrid mobile crushing equipment with a capacity from 250 up to 600 tons/hour. Development at Keestrack is clearly focussed on fuel-efficient drive concepts, large (pre)screening areas and optimized operational and service features.
