Elevated Road To Connect Mumbai Trans Harbour Link

A 1.5-km-long elevated road connecting the 22km long under construction Sewri- Nhava-Sheva Link also known as the Mumbai Trans Harbour Link (MTHL), will directly links with the Eastern Freeway, to connect it with South Mumbai and Central Suburbs, to boost connectivity and take motorists seamlessly towards south Mumbai. This elevated road will be constructed before work on MTHL is completed by 2022. The MMRDA will also build three ramps connecting RA Kidwai Marg and Acharya Donde Marg with the proposed Sewri-Worli elevated road. An MMRDA official said that having an elevated road that directly connects one to roads heading to towards south Mumbai, Lower Parel, Prabhadevi or Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC) destinations would help one travel seamlessly, without exiting the freeway network and creating traffic chaos on other service roads.
