The history of the Guinness World Record for continuous concrete pouring was 18,750 cubic metres in 24 Hours - Navayuga Engineering Company limited has been executing the Major construction of the “Polavaram Multipurpose Irrigation Dam Project” at Polavaram, Andhra Pradesh. The project cost is approx. ` 58,319 Crores, and it has been designed by “Canadian Consultant” who has created Two Guinness World Records.

Successfully achieved on 7th January ’19 which was started on 6th January at 8 a.m., with the firm pouring 32,315.50 cubic metres in 24 Hours. This concrete pouring was done at spill channel of the national project. For this concrete pouring, NECL engaged 20 agitator trucks, 10 batching plants and 90 concrete mixers to achieve this milestone of Guinness World Record.

Proudly to share that, this continuous concrete pouring was supported by India’s leading multinational construction chemicals manufacturing company – FAIRMATE Chemicals private Limited., one of the major concrete admixture – FAIRFLO S RPT suppliers to achieve concrete of 32,315.50 cubic metres in 24 hours.

The adjudicators of the Guinness World Records formally announced this achievement of world record at 4.15 p.m. and was facilitated to Shri. Chandrababu Naidu, Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh and Mr. Sridhar Managing Director of NECL.
