Aparna RMC: Concrete Solutions For World Class Infrastructure
Backward integration has been a buzzword in the real estate and infrastructure industry for some time. In fact, many real-estate conglomerates have ventured into manufacturing building materials and vice versa. However, only a handful successfully built successful ventures; Aparna Enterprises, founded in 1990 as a ceramic tile distribution company, is one of them. However, in 2006 they diversified and started producing RMC. Aparna Enterprises Limited manufactures and markets its products under Aparna RMC, Vitero Tiles, Aparna Venster uPVC windows and Doors, Ökotech uPVC profiles, Aparna CRF, and Aparna Unispace.
Aparna RMC, established in 2006 by Aparna Enterprises Ltd., is a leading producer of ready-mix concrete (RMC) in Southern India. The company has participated in most of the quality constructions in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Karnataka. The list includes some of the renowned structures in Hyderabad, namely–recently constructed Amazon office building, ICICI tower, Satva Knowledge Park, and various other projects such as Aurobindo Reality, GAR Corporation building and KLN terminus.
The latest concrete batching equipment with 18 fully computerised Schwing Stetter RMC plants are used by Aparna RMC to produce strong, customizable, versatile, and durable ready-mix concrete. Further, the company has a fleet of 230 transit mixers, 66+ high capacity concrete pumps and 50 towing vehicles, which makes it the biggest fleet owned by any concrete production company. Aparna RMC is thus the only RMC player in India to own an entire fleet of transit mixers, pumps and towing vehicles.
The distinct factor that sets Aparna RMC apart from its competitors is the ability to develop concrete technology solutions and design concrete as per the client’s requirement; it runs round the clock and can pour out concrete based on client’s convenience. Aparna RMC is consistent in quality right from the manufacturing plant to the construction site. The focus of the ISO 9001 certified company Aparna RMC has been to provide quality products to its customers. Further, Aparna RMC stands out as they are produced using the latest technology; it boasts latest technology from Schwing Stetter, comprising 18 RMC plants and 230 transit mixtures, with a pouring capacity of 1.44 million cubic metres per year. All the batching plants are controlled by MCI 360 software and Siemens PLCs for quality assurance.
The biggest challenges for RMC include its tendency to set quickly. To address this and ensure the quality of the ready mix, Aparna RMC uses superior quality admixture (chemical components used to delay or fasten the drying process of the concrete) that are sourced from leading brands such as BASF, Fosroc, etc.
The continued emphasis on quality and timely delivery has earned Aparna RMC the seals of approval from the likes of Central Public Works Department and Military Engineering Services. The acceptance by the real estate and infrastructure sector has resulted in strengthening Aparna RMC’s production and delivering capacity. Also, the company has added 5 new plants in the last fiscal and increased its production capacity from 0.84 million cubic metres per year to 1.44 million cubic metres per year.
The persistent emphasis on quality assurance has enabled the company to not only be a preferred partner for the private sector but also for the public sector. Aparna RMC is associated with various government projects across the country. Recently, Telangana Government’s ‘2 BHK housing project’ received 15,000 cubic metres of ready-mix concrete from Aparna RMC. Furthermore, they won the tender to supply ready-mix concrete for the development of Rail Under Bridge (RUB) in South Central Hyderabad, and flyover construction in Lalaguda and Hitech city.
Besides being a preferred ready-mix concrete partner for the construction of residential, commercial and industrial projects, Aparna RMC has been an indispensable product among all sectors- Public, Retail, Education, Defence, Healthcare, etc. The concrete mix is scientifically designed mixture to produce quality output.
