Phosphoric Acid Plant Expansion Project Assigned To thyssenkrupp
Paradeep Phosphates Limited (PPL) recently awarded a contract to thyssenkrupp Industrial Solutions for the extension work on their phosphoric acid plant in Odisha, India. The development will boost the capacity of the present plant from 1,000 tons to 1,400 tons of phosphoric acid per day. The produced phosphoric acid will be utilised by Paradeep Phosphates for manufacturing the phosphate fertilizers such as diammonium phosphate and compound/multi-nutrient fertilizers.
thyssenkrupp Industrial Solutions will provide engineering and technical procurement services, which will cover the plant’s reaction unit, filtration unit, dry rock grinding section and an additional cooling tower cell. The project is planned to be completed within a period of 22 months from the effective date of the contract.
